Great fun for the money

I've never been into wildlife or landscape photography so I thought I'd give a super zoom a try. I really wanted the Nikon Z mount 160-600 mm for my Nikon Z7 II, but at $1,700 it was too expensive for a lens I wasn't sure I'd use much. Since I also have a Olympus EM-1 Mark III I thought I'd take advantage of the this much cheaper OM-System option. This 75-300 is all plastic except for the metal mount, but it feels very solid. The zoom ring operates very smooth and it balances very well on the camera. The images from this lens are pretty good, not super sharp, but for this price range I think it's better than what can be expected. There is no built in lens stabilization, so you are relying on your camera's IBIS, that said just double the focal length to determine the shutter speed. (At 250 mm use a minimum of 1/500th of a second, etc.) In summary, for this price you can't go wrong if you are looking for a well built "entry level" super zoom.
