The Ocean Matrix OMX-3GSDI-SC HD video over fiber extender reaches well beyond copper cable limitations to send 3G-SDI 1080p signals up to 12 miles via singlemode fiber. Add in a Camplex tactical fiber cable and you've got a simple, rugged solution wherever any sports, outside broadcast or live video production event is happening.

For presentation style and controlled events, the systems supports IR control of the source deck or cameras. This allows the system to be used in campus wide digital signage applications when paired with a distribution system for universities, hotels or healthcare facilities. The OMX-3GSDI-SC takes the worry out of signal loss over long distances. Using fiber as the conduit practically eliminates all possibilities of hum and noise interference to deliver crystal clear video throughout any venue. The complete kit includes the transmitter & receiver, both equipped with SC fiber connectors, as well as power supplies and IR emitter cables.
