Shopper : with line out can i connect a power amp?STEVEN G : No. Line Outputs are always at fixed level. They are typically for recording. You need Preamp Outputs which are variable level.Kathleen O : Find Onkyo's specifications for Line Out online. It is necessary to check compatibility against the power amp specifications for Line In. For maximum transfer of power, Line Out and Line In impedances would match. An admissible output line level from Onkyo''s Line Out would be within the range of minimum and maximum input line levels specified by the power amp manufacturer for Line In. Explanations and calculators for the different units of measure for line level can also be found online.Richard B B : The LINE OUT jacks are intended to provide left and right channel analog audio signals to recording equipment. They are not intended to directly drive a power amp. However, you might experiment by hooking them up to the inputs of a pre-amp whose output can then drive a power amp.MR. M : Yes, you can connect line out to the input on another amp to drive other speakers. I'm actually using mine that way. I connect my main speakers to this amp, use the line out to another amp and power a second set of speakers with that.

Sweet sounding amp with old school heritage keeping it simple and loud as you want.

Nice simple setup that really drives speakers for what they're worth! Good clean sound with punchy bass. Being able to hook up a turntable is a great feature. I alternate with direct sound and phase matching bass, but never bother with treble and bass controls. If you want modern features like bluetooth, wireless or internet connections, this is not for you. This is an old school setup with RCA connections for one set of speakers so as not to lose any power bothering with channel 2.

I definitely recommend this product. I read the review for this and they said this has a lot of energy and I have to agree. I have a Marantz 6006 in another room and that's good too but in a much different way. I am liking this and have no complaints. Keep in mind they recommend a good DAC to pair with it. It was hard to get but it is worth it. Only think that's annoying is that center volume knob... it's always going to mess me up.

This is a great bargin, great sound, solid power into 8 ohms, direct output, and excellent remote control.

This is a great amp and competes with Yamaha for much less money! Great sound and phono input, but it is a stereo amp with a subwoofer output for a powered subwoofer.

Onkyo 9110 vs Cambridge AXA35 budget audiophile setup.

I’m using it in a budget audiophile setup. It’s fed by The Schiit modi 3. It drives Def Tech Bp8s. Previously I was using the Cambridge AXA35 in its place. Sound: The extra 15WPC you get compared to the axa35 is extremely noticeable. This amp drives the bp8s with no problems at all. No distortion at high volumes with a very detailed sound. The mid range is alive and well and vocals sound fantastic. Compared to the axa35 the sound stage is a tad bit more narrow and shallow. For instance, in the song Death Row by Chris Stapleton, the band saw, that sits off in the distance way beyond Stapleton, feels so much nearer to the listener than with the axa35, as does Stapleton. The axa35 might just be a tad “warmer”. There’s a certain analytical clarity that you get with the onkyo that is unachievable with the axa35. The soundstage while smaller, is more detailed and precise. Looks: Sharp and clean. No volume level display is odd.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a simple yet capable integrated amp. Didn’t want unnecessary bells and whistles, just a hub for my source components, and speaker outputs. This amp was made for just that application, and it does a great job. Havnt compared it to many other amps, but it sure sounds good. Can’t beat the price either.
