This is great! I don't like checking my camera at museums, etc, where back packs are forbidden. I can keep it with me and no one questions it. I put it in my favorite tote type bag and it is under my arm and ready for use quickly. I still use a sling for hiking but for city touring this was perfect. Measure your bag carefully to be sure it fits in the tote you choose.

This bag is perfect when I am taking it to use for day outings with my kiddos when I know I am not bringing several lenses. I pack up my 7D and a wide angle and a telephoto lens and I am good to go. I can put this awesome bag into a backpack, my diaper bag or a stylish bag. Perfect Thanks so much

I love this bag for photo walks and times when I don't want or need to carry around an assortment of lenses. It fits easily into my regular purse and provides protection for my gear. It has great little pockets that I use to keep batteries and memory cards handy. It's a good size; I usually fit my Canon 7D and 24-70mm lens and occasionally add a 580EXII. Overall, it's a good durable way to protect your gear without adding a full camera bag to your list of things to carry.

I've been using the bag lately to carry two camerass - my F3 and D7000, and, so long as I have two smaller lenses on both cameras, they fit perfectly. When I have a bigger lens on the D7000, I can take out the divider that separates it and just carry the single camera with plenty of protection. The side pockets are perfect for storing cleaning accessories (I use a lens cleaning pen and have a microfiber cloth you'd use to clean glasses), remote shutter releases, business cards, and a pack of gum (or whatever else you'd like to carry). It's great for peace of mind when it comes to protection for carrying your camera and some extra gear around on a day to day basis, especially if you have a bag you love carrying around every day!

The company page says that its design goals are to fulfill the needs for "style, function and protection for your gear." The Roma insert has magnificent style and its functional design is good. The third goal, protection for my gear, is not adequately addressed with this insert. The "protective" foam was poorly chosen and it would not offer any real benefit in the event of a hard ding, let alone the bag falling from waist height onto a hard surface. I have augmented the foam in the bag's lining with two layers of high impact 0.5cm packing foam. The compartment with my camera body has a further pad of 0.75 cm foam velcroed to the bottom of the bag. None of this additional protective foam is stitched into the lining and therefore it slows me down in key moments when I am removing the gear from the bag or returning it. This bag would be perfect if its protective layer was thicker and more impact resistant. It is sad that I cannot recommend this bag but it does not satisfy my basic expectation that it would protect a camera body and lens.
