The Orion Explorer II Starter Set provides you with three of the most commonly used focal lengths for low, medium and high-power observing: 25mm, 17mm and 10mm. Their 3 and 4-element glass lens configurations provide a pleasing 50° apparent field of view, wider than that of many pricier eyepiece designs.

The lenses are carefully ground and polished from quality optical glass to provide excellent image sharpness and brightness. They're fully coated with anti-reflection material to maximize transmission of incoming light. The anodized aluminum barrels are precisely machined and internally blackened to prevent stray light reflections. They're also threaded to accept standard light-pollution and color filters.
