DTS Play-Fi Multi-room Audio
The DTS Play-Fi app for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle Fire, and Windows PC lets you stream from online services, media server, or device library over Wi-Fi to any number of compatible speakers. DTS Play-Fi connects systems for synchronized music in every room, and can stream different music to different rooms from the same device. Speakers can be used individually with unique devices at the same time, and lossless audio is supported.

Pre-outs for Zones 2 and 3 as well as Powered Zone 2 and 3 capability opens up distributed audio options throughout the home backed by dedicated Zone 2 and Zone 3 DACs.

Select HDMI terminals support 4K/60 Hz video, 4:4:4 Color Space, HDCP 2.2 copy protection, and High Dynamic Range (HDR), with BT.2020 support, for next-generation UltraHD streaming and broadcasting. A 4k and HDCP 2.2/HDR-compatible Zone 2 HDMI output allows you to enjoy AV sources connected to the receiver in another room.

THX-Certified For Theater Reference Sound
THX Certification guarantees the same high volume and low distortion levels you experience in a commercial theater in your listening room. THX Select2 Plus is recommended for screen-to-seat viewing distances of 10-12 feet (3-4 m).

Noiseless Audio Processing
Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry is a mouthful, so we call it VLSC. This circuitry virtually removes digital pulse noise for a smooth analog signal. TX-RZ1100 features VLSC across all channels.

Data is converted between sampling points and these points are joined with analog vectors in real time to produce a smooth output wave form. The result is a virtually noiseless, smooth, analog signal based on the digital source. It brings out even the most subtle of nuances in audio sources.

Packing 9.2 channels, the TX-RZ1100 unlocks a full 5.2.4-channel Dolby Atmos and DTS:X experience via four in-ceiling (or up-firing) speakers. Included 11.2 multichannel pre-outs enable 7.2.4-channel layouts (requires stereo amplifier).

Supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, BT.2020, 4K/60 Hz, and HDCP 2.2
Seven rear HDMI inputs (HDMI 1-7), Main Out, and Sub/Zone 2 Out support pass-through of HDR10, and Dolby Vision; the BT.2020 4K color standard; 4K/60 Hz video playback; and HDCP 2.2 for premium video content. Front HDMI terminal is ideal for temporary device connections.

Bluetooth / Wi-Fi with Pandora, Spotify, and AirPlay
The TX-RZ1100 has AirPlay, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies built in. Stream virtually any audio from a smartphone, tablet or PC to your home theater for powerful sound.

With Spotify, Pandora, and TuneIn built-in, as well as Deezer and Tidal (via firmware update available now), you can search for music available on these services via the Onkyo Controller app on your phone. The free Onkyo Controller app puts a range of streaming options at your fingertips, from universal hi-res audio via network-attached devices to internet streaming services to music on your smartphone and tablet.

FlareConnect Multi-Room Audio
A firmware update enables almost any audio source connected to the receiver from vinyl to streaming audio to be sent wirelessly via FlareConnect, to an optional speaker placed anywhere in your home. Stable, fast, and easy to control with a mobile, it's the smart way to set audio free.
