My router is in the basement office so I elected to use Ooma wirelessly. This adapter works great even when my router is in a storm shelter with 18" poured concrete walls. The router was delivered a few days after the base unit, but that was not problem since it took several days to "Port" my old phone number. We've not had any failures in connectivity or with signal strength. Adorama's price was competitive with all other vendors.
