John H : Does it have an on/off switch? Thanks. John.RACHEL U : The cap has a primer that is the on / off switch. The cartridge is activated by the firing pin hitting the primer. When not using the cartridge, the batteries should be removed.andrew s : There is no On/Off switch. This is a purely passive device. Think of it as looking through a honeycomb style screen. The pattern allows direct light to pass through, but shields the scope lense from indirect light which might glint off the objective lens, thus revealing your position.Glen H : The on/off switch is part of the end cap.
