I submitted the other review on this adapter. I had ordered these before and the last time I got one, the 1/4 screw threads would not work with any of my gear. But I needed 2 more adapters and took a gamble that I might get lucky again. Well I did! Both of them work just fine. I guess the other was just a bad thread cut, but I managed to "fix" it sufficiently with my tap & die set. I'm giving this review 5 out of 5 stars to balance the average since I now have 3 out of 4 good ones so far.

1/4 side doesn't thread properly

The QC on this must be bad because I just ordered one of these and the 1/4 20 male part doesn't thread properly with any of my hardware. The 3/8 female works just fine though. I bought one a couple years ago and it worked ok so something changed in the manufacturing process.
