I have 2 Varmint MTR's and CZ recommends a .17 caliber rod and .20 caliber attachments for my Match Target Rifle barrels due to their match chambers being cut really tight, the Limited Breech nylon and bronze brushes are the perfect size for this barrel. I use the bronze brush sparingly and primarily use the nylon brush, I will definitely order more of them to use with my .17 caliber Ripcords.

My experience has been excellent, as have been all of the products I have purchased from Otis. I would prefer to be able to purchase the nylon brush as a set since I use it more than the bronze one.

I own numerous Volquartsen .22lr and .22wmr weapons and they have tight chamber access. Standard cleaning brushes for pull through cables often are just too long and require horsing the brush across the bolt and wedging it into the chamber opening before you can yank it through the bore which causes unnecessary wear over time. These Otis limited breech bore brushes address this problem and work in all my Volquartsen .22 caliber weapons as well as my other .22s. I keep sets of dedicated cables for pistols and rifles with both the bronze and nylon brushes ready to go so cleaning is a snap when I use these along with my Otis Ripcord. The longest amount of time in the whole process is the 30 seconds to thread a patch and wet it with solvent before pulling it through the bore. Patch, bronze brush, nylon brush, ripcord, and done. Start to finish less than 2 minutes and you are left with a super clean chamber and bore ready for the next trip to the range.

I love using the Otis system and now can finally use it on my .17 HMR. Was reduced to cleaning with rods and jags prior to this purchase. Now I can confidently clean my .17 with ease and keep all dirt ect headed out the barrel and not worry about getting debris into the action of my rifle.
