I've used Otis cleaning patches and weapon cleaning system for over a decade now. Their standard and panoply patches, in my opinion, are the best in the industry. Never been disappointed!

These are great patches. They work exactly like they should. It can be difficult finding good big bore patches for my 45-70 but these are perfect.

These are the best general purpose cleaning patches for most of the firearms I own. For 5.56 mm and .22 cal I prefer these to the smaller patches. They also work great for 7.62 mm and 9 mm. Although they kind of work for .45 cal, I prefer the Panoply patches for .45 cal.

Since last fall (2018) I have used Otis' patches (3 inch and 2 inch diameters) to clean my grandchildren 22 ca rifles and my Colt 45 single action Army revolver and my Winchester 1873 model lever action rifle that I shoot with black powder cartridges. Like all Otis products, these patches are high quality and useful. I bought them mainly for my shotgun cleaning. Used with the rubber “patch saver”, they satisfy two of my main requirements. First, they are “throw away after use” items. Cleaning items to me are best if they are cheap enough to throw away, along with whatever gunk they cleaned out, to avoid cross contamination. While these patches allow for flipping over and threading through other available holes, they still keep the contaminants from ending up back in the bore. And secondly, with the “patch saver” they also satisfy my requirement to have a tight, high surface area mating to the part being cleaned. In this case, the bore gets a patch that is mashed up against the inside with no folds. Folds create a space that requires more passes to get the same level of clean. This helps both the even application of solvents, and the thorough removal of contaminants, compared to other patch systems.

I only use Otis cleaning products for my weapons. I started using them after I joined the service and have been using them since. I had occasion to call Customer Service for the first time to see if I could replace some worn scraping tools, Otis just sent me the whole set as part of their warranty after 12 years of use. Outstanding service and they do stand behind their warranty. I’m very happy with Otis products and will not change to any other brand.
