Questions & Answers

MANDY B : How do you connect it to the camera?David R : I do the same thing by attaching the loops to the tripod mount. I use a manfrotto quick release plate or similar. I find it gives me more freedom.Michael L : There are two separate loops that slide along each of the left and right shoulder slings. These loops (approximately 2 inches in diameter) can connect to your cameras at the neck strap anchors. I prefer to connect them to the tripod mount screw hole on the bottom of the camera, although you'd need to purchase a separate "D-ring" to do that. This strap is light weight, durable, and more comfortable than the leather versions.
NICOLE D : Will it hold both mirrorless and DSLR?Michael L : Yes. It has nylon cord loops to attach to your cameras, so it can attach to any loop, hook, or ring that you have on your cameras. I prefer to use D-rings that screw into the tripod mount on the bottoms of my cameras, but you're not required to purchase any additional parts to use this sling.NASHEED H : Yes if your camera has the standard screw in socket.ED C : It will handle any 2 cameras as long as they have strap lugsPHILLIP Y : Yes. Even with heavy glass on FF DSLRs this will perform as advertised. Mirrorless should be no problem. Both cameras are equally accessible.STEVE F : YesEARL H : It works with any camera. I even put a loop on my flashes to connect to the strap.Dan V : Yeah I sire it will hold your DSLR very easy to attach.
ALAN F : Is their a matching sling so that if you only want to use one camera you don't have to go about changing all the connections?BRIAN O : Hi Alan, I've modified mine, and am not using the OpTech connectors. On my set-up, I'm using BlackRapid connectors, and when I'm only carrying one camera, I clip the unused BlackRapid ConnectR to a belt loop on my pants. Works great. It prevents the camera sling from slipping off my shoulder.DAVID A : I'm not sure I know what you mean. If you're asking if there is a sling that goes with this specific piece my answer is, not that I know of. However they, Op Tech, makes a very comfortable sling, that I also own, and that is attached to my camera at all times. By the way, this double sling is very comfortable and I enjoy using it. I also have extra strap connectors that I attach to the belt loops on my pants and then attach the camera to them for more stability when walking around (note the dangling connectors in the photo). Hope this helps.

Good for the price

Works well, but my thumbs always get scratched when using this for too long. The design is not 100% ergonomic

Impressed

Honestly I was skeptical at first because of the crazy low price, but I was definitely not disappointed this thing is sturdy, would definitely buy again!

Very cool sling!

The sling works great. I like the fact that you can adjust it to your liking. I also like the quick release feature for the cameras and the price you can't beat it.

Answering Alan's question

I usually only carry one camera at a time. When I do I just hook each side of the camera to opposing sides of the harness. Then the camera sits snugly next to my body, then I just snap one side off when I want to shoot. Having the harness has made my photography much more enjoyable because I don't get the strain of carrying the camera all the time or the pull on the neck. I have a Canon 5DIII with a battery pack and when I have the 100-400L lens on it, it can be quite heavy. I am a 5'3" female in my early 60's so now I can go all day without strain.

Not for diminutive shooters

I ended up returning this product because it didn't fit me. It's a "One Size Fits All" - which never works for us smaller people, i.e., women. The concept is great and it's affordable. Construction seems OK, not great.

Best Camera Accessory I ever bought

I use this to carry two Pentax K-20s and most of the time don't even realize they are hanging off my shoulders. It is extremely comfortable and the cameras don't slip and slide off your shoulder or hang on your neck.

Best Camera Accessory I ever bought

The Op/Tech Double Sling offers another alternative to the ever-popular Dual Harness for those photographers wanting the feel and the fast action of the Utility Strap - Sling for carrying two cameras, the Double Sling is the answer. Its U-shaped neoprene pad effectively distributes and balances the weight of two cameras while absorbing the shock of the photographer's movements. It offers the popular Uni-Loop Connectors to attach to the cameras.

The strap also has added flexibility in that it can be adjusted to carry only one camera if desired. When carrying two cameras, the camera that is attached to the left side of the Double Sling will only use one Uni-Loop Connector mounted to the left side connection area of the camera. The camera mounted to the right side of the Double Sling can either use one or two connection areas on the right side of the camera depending on the type of camera.

The Sling Adapter System used on the Double Sling can be removed from the U-shaped pad and added to any other Op/Tech standard strap pad to create an over-the-shoulder sling strap. This interchangeable design gives the photographer flexibility to customize their gear to fit their ever-changing needs. Comfort, security and flexibility sum up the features of the Double Sling.
