Nice way not to lose the lens cap, but vignetting can be a problem
This is the second Optech lens cap I've owned (first was for a sony a6000). It is much better than the cap keeper I used to use (lens cap button with a string) - I can't count how many of the strings broke on my older cap keepers.
However, there is some vignetting with the Optech - this can be corrected by either not cropping your photos too close when you take them, or removing the Optech lens cap when you take a photo. The top does close nicely as long as you snap it closed.
