They are great at allowing you to hear quieter sounds while still blocking out loud noises. I had my husband talk and then try to yell loud and they both sound the same while wearing these. My one and only complaint is the size of the part that goes 'in' your ear is enormous and it hurts my ears to wear them for the length of time I need them. I wish they had a smaller earbud option or additional size buds you could purchase. If you have large ear holes or don't mind the pain, these are amazing!

Hope these would work out as my new rifle cheek pad hits regular ear muffs. Sadly the part that goes in the ear was too large and did not give a good seal. After 2 hours my ears hurt too much to continue to wear them.

I have several pair for myself. I also give them as "gifts" to my shooting friends for birthdays, etc. The rifle shooters are greatly impressed with their use. I use them for both rifle and handgun. I have not bought any in a while as I am well supplied with them.

These are much better than any ear protection I have used. The old Sonic II were my old favorites. I am a construction traveling quality engineer for large power projects. I am also an avid shooter, mostly handguns and shotguns. These do not get in the way and they work far better than anything I have used. They also allow for better communication levels in high noise area. Easy to put on and take off when transversing high noise areas. No batteries needed!

I was surprised at how lightweight they were. Work just as well, if not better, than my much heavier earmuff style hearing protection. I not only use them at the firing range, I use when using my very loud chain saw and gas leaf blower to protect my hearing.

They with great. Fit great. Takes a little getting used to but just purchased 4 more. I used them for sitting then wanted some at home for home Construction projects

I have used my EarShield (36db) in many different scenarios over the past year. Indoor pistol ranges, outdoor high-power rifle ranges, as well as skeet and trap fields, not to mention a power tool or two. They really do work remarkably well, without muffling nearby conversation. I already suffer from hereditary hearing loss, so the conversation effects are magnified when wearing traditional hearing protection. I can't wear my aids while shooting either way, so the EarShield helps me hear close conversation at the range, without having to temporarily pull muffs off my head and say, "Whaaa?" An added benefit is being able to better hear steel plate pings on the range, whereas before, regular muffs (and my upper-frequency hearing loss) would mask the audible hits-on-target. Thank you for bringing this product to market.

After spending $50 on a pair of electronic muffs that the batterys would never stay put thus leaving me unable to hear conversation or range commands I started researching better muffs. I was immediately frustrated . I remembered the otis earshield, unconventional I was slightly skeptical. But I trust Otis so I got the 31db .I used them at a covered outdoor range shooting 9mm and 556 . They eliminated the sound but most importantly I had could hear with them on

I was excited for this product and couldn't wait to use them. The instructions were easy to follow and in a matter of minutes they were custom fit. The issue I had was at home, I felt the fit was perfect, but at a 3 gun event, they just didn't stay fully seated in my ear when I started moving around. I feel with more adjustments I may be able to get the perfect fit for the field, but currently I went back to my electronic ear pro. I still like the product and encourage others to use it.

I was skeptical but glad I gave them a try. I purchased the 30dB model and whether I wear them over the top or behind my head they work extremely well. Very very satisfied with Otis.

These are the best. Super comfortable. Sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. Great sound protection. Still able to hear normally. And reasonably priced.

Purchased this as a gift for my husband. He is very impressed with how well the ear protection works. Even made the comment that the design allows him to wear his glasses comfortably. Would definitely recommend this product. :+1::skin-tone-2:
