PERFECT FIT for 60mm binocular objectives with outside diameter of 74mm! Able to leave the original lens covers IN the Hood Hats as extra protection! The "pull-on straps" left room to use elastic hair rings to use as attachments for the Hoods to "hang" connected to the binocular's body & keep from losing! VERY happy & will buy again, when needed for extra large binocular objectives! Highly recommend!!

Be careful to get the right size. Otherwise, this is a good solution for lens/hood combinations that may be challenging for conventional lens caps.

The wife and I like to cruise side roads (unpaved) in our side-by-side, getting shots of the wildlife on the way. If there's traffic, there's dust. A natural bristle brush works for the body of the lens, but the bulb just won't break the static cling of the fine stuff on the protection filter. When an automobile looms either fore or aft, the hood goes on. Covering with the hat keeps the finest stuff away, and doesn't really slow a shot when the opportunity presents.

The hood is a handy idea; will be very helpful when I get one to fit my 18-105 mm lens. The second hood hat is still a very tight fit, a struggle to get on and off. I will need to order a larger one.

I have these for all my lenses, they are easy on easyoff with lenshood either way... Adds protection and keeps lens clean .. When not using just stuff in pocket or bag ... Can not think of how it could be improved in any way!

Fits well and securely holds on while being quick to remove, intend to get a few other sizes for my larger lenses. For fast paced 'on the go' shooting the advantage over conventional lens caps is clear.
