Otis Technology 36" Memory-Flex Cleaning Cable

Bought this 36 inch replacement cable for my Otis Elite Gun Cleaning Kit. Have had this kit for a number of years and this 36 inch cable in it is showing wear so I purchased this for the 36 inch replacement. The Otis Brand is the Best would not have any other. Thanks OTIS.

I bought this cable on a lark hoping it would suffice for cleaning my .22 cal. rifles at the range, instead of dragging my long single piece cleaning rods along. I clean the barrel of my .22's whenever I switch ammunition brands and just before I leave the range to remove any unburned powder from the barrel. This cable works well for this, but care must be taken to make sure cable cleaning attachments will clear the ejection port on entry. I use pistol length cleaning brushes and patch holders when using this cable. So far I really like using this cable and there is one other benefit, I no longer worry about bending my long one piece cleaning rods in transport or use at the range. Great product all in all.

Just at the limit length for my 32´´ shotgun barrels, if used with the extended competition chokes.

I've used the Otis cleaning cable for awhile and really liked it. I bought another one so I could have one for bore brush and one for patches/bore mop. I used bore snakes for awhile till I realized they hold carbon, lead and other impurities that get mopped through the bore. Cable system is the best way for me to clean bores and protect rifling.
