I have a cleaning cord for every caliber I own. I was just cleaning my black powder rifle that I had let sit for a few days. Blackhorn 209 isn't corrosive as black powder, but it still can be a mess if let to sit. To make a long story short, I used both Otis Ripcord and a competitor's. Well, the difference was unbelievable. The Ripcord took more in one pass than the competitor's in 4!! Considering the price is the same to buy something else is a waste of money.

Anything I've used from Otis performed exactly as advertised. Otis makes quality products at reasonable prices. I hate cleaning my guns, but it must be done. Otis makes it less of a drag.
