Op/Tech Connectors: Sling Strap Adaptor

I have owned this product now for 4 years and it has not failed once. I purchased the Op/Tech pro strap to start with but wanted the camera to sit at my side, so I bought the sling adapter shown here. As much of the Op/Tech stuff is interchangeable, the buckles for the sling adapter worked perfect with the Pro Strap, turning it into a pro sling. I then joined CPS (Canon Pro Services) and they sent me a neck strap. Low and behold, the strap appeared to be made by Op/Tech. I quickly found that this sling adapter worked perfect with my new CPS strap. I am 6' tall and have used this strap with a gripped T3i and now with a gripped 5DII. The placement of the connectors on the camera with the grip means the camera sits on my right hip facing the perfect angle for me to grab the camera with my right hand and be ready to shoot in an instant. The connectors slide easily on the webbing and are very secure. The only reason I did not give the strap 5 stars is because turning the camera in portrait orientation means the straps or buckles get in the way. When I need to do this I usually unbuckle one of the straps to get it out of the way, which takes a few seconds. The camera is still buckled at one point though, so no risk of it crashing to the ground. If you have a gripped camera where you have to connectors on the right (or left) side of the camera, this strap will work great.

Simply put....Love this product....Love the company. Saved myself "Rapid" dollars and bought something made in the USA. Easy to intall and use.

When shooting in portrait, it get in the way across the camera back. I bought something to attach it to the tripod screw instead. For the rest it is very comfortable.
