After purchasing the 12 ga cleaning kit, I'm sold on Otis Technology. I'm slowly adding parts and pieces to maintain some of my rifles and pistols. The small slotted tip in 5-40 thread, along with Otis limited breach brushes, also in 5-40 thread, are exactly what I need to clean my Ruger 10/22, using the Otis cleaning cable. When ordering, make sure that the cord, slotted tip and brushes are 5-40 threading.

Buying a second slotted tip to run on my cable for rifles with a muzzle break or flash hider keeps the cable from getting stuck or hung up. With the rounded slot tip the cable slides right out of the barrel making life much easier. Bought one in every size to use as a leader on all cables.

Works perfect on my 223/556 rifle barrel. Had a hard time finding a small enough one to go inside a 22 caliber barrel.
