I have a Canon 7D Mark ll With a Canon vertical grip. Altogether it can weigh ( depending on the lens attached ) five pounds or more. I like the ease of which the clips attach and remove from the provided strap adapters; makes the strap very easy to use. I wish the swivels and the rings were a little thicker, but they say they are rated for 100 lbs., so, no worries. I would recommend these clips I like the way they function.

This is a nice easy and straightforward method to give your camera strap a quick release feature.

I recently acquired a factory reconditioned back-up camera body. Amazingly, it came with no rings or clips to attache it's included camera strap - probably a packing error. I ordered these as they liked like a quick and reasonably priced solution, preferable to hassling with the camera company. This product included multiple adapters and bits to handle most any type of strap attachment. It was easy to pick the best parts and fairly easy to fit the swivels to the camera. The included leather wear washers are greatly appreciated. They have performed well thus far, including some strenuous hiking and field use. I wish the actual clip was a bit thicker metal, but in use they have proved strong enough.
