It makes the camera easy to carry and be secure. You can change the height of the camera hang by easily changing the length of the cord.

Great strap. Holds very securely, and is very comfortable. I was a bit scared to only attach by one point so I attach both sides to carry and then unclip one when I am shooting

The plastic snap in straps are good for removing the sling easily but don’t give a good comfort level for security. Strap is okay for smaller cameras such as mirrorless but I would not use it for a large DSLR. Pockets on strap for extra card or battery would be useful.

This is a great strap, much better than the original that came with my camera and better than other options that annoyingly take up your tripod mounting holes.

The best strap I've ever used. I attach just one side of the camera to the strap which allows me, using another strap, to carry two cameras at my sides rather than in front. Pull up a camera, snap a photo and then pull up the other to take a photo with a different lens. Really handy when taking photos from my bike or working my way through a crowd. I have one on all my cameras.

Can be a little awkward when shooting vertically (portrait) because strap often gets in the way. Also the balance of the camera hanging from the strap is uncomfortable when a long lens is attached.

Reliable, Comfortable, Durable. So much better than then strap that comes with the camera. I hated having it around my neck and hanging on my stomach. With this strap, especially with heavier cameras, it allows you to move comfortably. Only downside is that I wish I could add extra clips to it.

When I purchased this item I was concerned if this a good choice or not. I've used it now for sometime from trade shows, hiking trails and photo sessions. This is one of my better purchases for my camera. It really exceeds all my expectations. I recommend it highly.

I bought my 1st Op Tech Utility Strap- Sling about 2 yours ago for my Canon t3i as I have a bad back. After 2 surgeries and a having my spine fused at 3 levels, I needed all the help I could get. It was soon discovered that I have a herniated disc in my neck so a strap around my neck was a no go. That's when I invested in the Op Tech and it made life much easier. I was able to put the strap over my head and onto my left shoulder letting the camera hang on my right side. This took the weight off my neck and distributed it off my back too. When I'm ready to shoot I can bring the camera up to eye level as with the connectors that come with the Op Tech will allow it to slide from one position to another. Another great feature is the padded strap that won't let this strap to dig into your shoulder I just got a Canon 6D and my 1st accessory for this new camera is the Op Tech Strap. I'm sold on Op Tech!

I hate neck straps, over time it makes me feel I,e a beast of burden. This strap eliminates that feeling. It does a nice job distributing the weight evenly across the body. The camera slides easily up and across for shooting.

This is my second strap sling just because I wanted a spare. I have enough clips for each of my bodies and can easily swap depending on the job. It is easily removed if I put on a coat over it but has never disconnected by itself. I have two other styles of Op/Tech straps, a neck strap for more formal shooting and a wrist strap for control when hanging over the edge. All make the perfect system for me.

Great for multiple cameras with the system connectors. I use this strap for my point and shoot and will soon use it for my 35mm and medium format cameras. Comfortable sling and is much easier than digging in my camera bag when I see a shot. Well designed and easy to use.

Fits comfortably and works well. Great for when you need to use your hands for other things and not having your neck hurt. Works so well I have two now so my cameras are always ready to go.

Instead of relying on connectors that fail (trust me--they will), this sling attaches with a loop to the L-plate or mount you already have. The loop cannot fail. When you don't need it, the sling unlatches easily in a half second, freeing up the mount to use with a tripod. A no-brainer, elegantly simple support system that saves time by bypassing twiddly, unreliable screw ons.

So far this is the most comfortable strap I have used. The only problem is when I go to review pics and hold the camera upto see the pics, the strap sometimes hides the picture and I have to move it out of the way. This strap is on my second camera (for when I need two different lenses) and for that, I love it as it is out of the way.

Longer and nicer than the strap that came with my camera. I like that this strap attaches at two points rather than one, but this feature also makes it difficult to access the back of the camera unless it is detached from the strap.

I was trying to use this product at Disney world with the kids. I was hoping I would be able to wear all day and take shots when needed but it was to floppy while walking and trying to get on and off rides. I notice alot of people using the Canon EOS Pro strap and looked to be having more luck than me. I am going to replace this with one of those.

this sling is the best for around the money i feel. it is comfortable, easy to use and wear and it works. down side.. when you have the camera attacked to the sling by the right side of the camera.. taking normal landscape pics is fine, but when you switch to take portrait/vertical shots, the strap gets in the way... i fixed this by buying a BlackRapid bolt for the tripod mount.. or you can buy anykind.. and then just connect the strap to that at the bottom of the camera. alot better materals feel good, for it being plastic buckles, its very sturdy, my gf couldn't even detach it.

One strap to replace them all

I carry my camera + grip for hours everyday. This strap make carrying easy! Sliding up to shooting position is effortless. Adjusts easily to where I want the camera on my side. Also make it simple to hook up to the double strap. I used the 3/8" webbing connectors to slight modify the connection point to camera. This gave me a little extra between the strap and my face in the shooting position. And, you can't beat the price!
The Op/Tech USA Utility Strap-Sling is designed to carry small bags, battery packs and other items needing to be worn across the shoulder. It uses 3/4" webbing, quick disconnects and A Uni-Loop connectors. The strap is made from neoprene with internal support foam, internal control stretch system and a non-skid surface.
