I originaly bought this projector to play fitness DVD's (P90X, etc.) for large groups. I have now set up a home thearer in my basement and use it to watch movies on the weekends. It works great for both. Because it does not have an HDMI input, I bought an HDMI to DVI cable for the home theater set up. I use it with a VIAO Laptop for the workout videos. I am impressed with the video quality for such a bargin priced projector. Well worth the cost.
