Take your medical imaging to the next level with the AG-MDC20 Medical Compact Camera Head. This lightweight, compact camera head is designed for flexible installation and free-style operation, making it ideal for capturing high-resolution images in challenging medical environments.

The AG-MDC20 inherits the best features from the first-generation POVCAM, including a built-in stereo microphone for recording video and sound, a Scan Reverse mode for image inversion when shooting with a ceiling-mounted camera head, and scene files for switching and saving settings. It also offers optional cables for easy system replacement.

This camera head is equipped with a battery socket on the rear panel and supports large-capacity batteries. It also features a DC drive with an input terminal for a DC12 V power supply and an AC adapter. The power supply activation mode on the camera head is linked to a centralized power supply ON/OFF, ensuring efficient power management.

The AG-MDC20 is designed with medical applications in mind, complying with Medical Electronic Device Safety Standards (IEC 60601-1) and EMC Standards (IEC60601-1-2). It comes with a lens protector for the front panel to protect the lens from splashes, and the control section uses switches covered by a membrane sheet for easy cleaning with an ethanol disinfectant.

Capture high-quality, high-resolution images with the 29.5 mm Wide-Angle Optical 20x Zoom Lens. This lens covers a range from 29.5 mm wide angle to 612 mm close-ups for various applications. The intelligent i.Zoom allows shooting up to 30x in HD format (22x in 4K) with high resolution, while the digital zoom allows zooming without any change in brightness.

The AG-MDC20 features a progressive MOS sensor with a total of 1.276-megapixels, supporting 4K (UHD: 3840 x 2160) 29.97p/23.98p/25p and FHD (1920 x 1080) 59.94p images. The high-resolution sensor provides a dramatic improvement over the HD image quality of the previous POVCAM model.

Stable images are ensured with a Five-Axis Hybrid Image Stabilizer, which detects and corrects motions on five axes, including rolling motion. This is particularly effective when shooting while walking or when the camera is mounted onto an arm.

The AG-MDC20 also offers adjustable image quality under a surgical light, with a Surgical Light mode, 16-Axis independent color correction, an optical ND filter, and a Dynamic Range Stretch (DRS) function. It also supports a maximum gain increase of 36 dB and independent iris adjustment.

With double SD Memory Card Slots (SDXC Memory Card) and a Relay Recording function, the AG-MDC20 allows for consecutive use of two memory cards and hot swapping, enabling a maximum of 22 hours of recording in the high-quality PS mode and a maximum of 112 hours of recording in the extended (HE) mode.

The AG-MDC20 also supports IP Streaming and IP Control, with a LAN terminal for video and audio streaming distribution to networks, as well as file transfers and external control. It also features SDI input for recording endoscope and other images, and SDI/HDMI output for various applications.
