The New Quad-4 Doorway Dolly from Proaim is the Strongest Platform Dolly. It's the next generation doorway dolly based on the industry proven design and engineering. The Quad Dolly offers you new possibilities concerning mobility and versatility for on stage and most production situations.
The New Quad-4 Dolly offers all-wheel steering which allows for greater turning flexibility and will turn in a tight 6 foot (2 meter) circle. The Dolly is constructed from Highest Grade Materials for Ultimate Strength and will Deliver Years of Reliable Support. It features pneumatic wheels, non-slip wooden platform, two removable side boards, switchable comfortable operator seat and push/pull steering bars. Payload capacity is over 500kg/1100lb. On this dolly; add crane, bazooka, tripod, slider or whatever you can think of! Load it with gear to get to the location with ease!
Attention to Convenience
The improved wooden platform is fitted with a recessed camera tie-down and has non-slip, low-maintenance surface. The removable side boards add an extra 10" per side for increased platform width allowing the operator to resize the dolly; the way it's convenient in different shooting conditions.
Round Steering
The all-wheel Steering provides full range of movement for greater turning flexibility with the capability of negotiating an extremely tight 6 foot (2 meter) circle. It can tilt down 340 deg. for more convenience. It allows the dolly to move in smooth circles and is best suited when the dolly is on ground and on curve track. Steering Push bar allows rolling on ground with standard pneumatic rubber tyres while on the track with Skateboard Kit (purchased separately).
Robust Support
The wooden platform is attached to the steel tubing frame. It allows you to feel secure in its abilities in any circumstance. The well-designed and exceptionally constructed dolly is vigorously stable and can support camera setups/camera operators/carriage weight up to 500kg/1100lb.
Comfortable Operator Seat
You can mount the seat directly onto the dolly and install it in four different positions. This gives you more choices for seating and achieving camera angles. The seat is also adjustable in forward/backward position for more comfort.
