These things are great. It's obviously a very simple accessory, but it has two key features working for it that I think make it worth the extra cost compared to its competitors: 1) it literally punctures the film when you snap it closed, so you don't really have to worry about anything sliding off; and 2), unlike most other film hangers, it has two points of contact, which seems like it helps the film dry flatter. Bottom line, I have four sets, and if I needed more, I would buy more of these. The only minor issue is that the weighted (bottom) end isn't quite heavy enough. Thankfully it has those hook ends though, so I usually just attach a lens case pouch with some heavy items inside (coins, old batteries, etc.) to give it a little extra pull. Oh, also, this is definitely better for 35mm film. For 120 film I just use heavy-duty metal chip clips I found on Amazon.

Let's be real, these film clips are not cheap. On the other hand they are literally the best thing on the market in my experience. I will always buy these clips even though they hurt my wallet. You should definitely buy them though because they work so well I will never use anything different for hanging my film. Clothespins work temporarily but only until the new clips show up on my doorstep. I bought them, I recommend you do the same.

Have not used as of yet. I received four clips as ordered, but three were not weighted leaving me with only one with weight. Not a big deal I’m going to call and see if I can order two that are weighted.
