hmm, for some reason the review fields are for audio equipment... oh well. i just unpacked my interfit exd light kit, it's triggering great, after adjusting a few settings on the lights. it has a limited range, so some angles may be hard to trigger,if you like odd angles like i do. the price is great,i almost spent 4x this much on a trigger. I may switch to radio control at some point as it may have a better range. for the price, it works great with the interfit monolights.

I bought this to use with my interfit kit. It was awesome the first 3 times. then it would work for the first 2 shots and then not fire off for 5 minutes or more. I thought maybe the batteries were bad so changed them out and no luck. All of this happened during a newborn appointment. Was very diappointed when I had to hook up my sync cord and then go spend 129 on a radio transmitter.

The device is well designed, fits properly and works fine with my Nikon. Be aware that it does not work with SONY ALPHA a300 line of cameras due to polarity issues. It will not trigger

I've got this as a cheap studio alternative and it DOES work as advertised. Construction is a bit weak but can withstand home studio abuse. As another reviewer pointed out, I also had a hard time to fit this in my Nikon's hot shoes, D90, D200 & Nikon F5. The shoe mount seems to be a little thick and is virtually impossible to slide into the camera's hot shoe. I did however grabbed a metal nail file and 5 minutes later was sliding in and out like a charm. Other than that glitch, it works as promissed. It even fires my Alien Bee ABR 800 Ring Flash.

I own an Interfit monolight system, so I thought this would be the perfect match to fire them wireless. The particular unit I received just did not fit properly on my Nikon cameras (two-D50's and one-D80). I literally had to "force" it on all three cameras and once on it would not fire the strobes from the hot shoe. Maybe it wasn't on all the way, but I was afraid I was going to break the unit if I tried to force it anymore. Getting it off the hotshoe was even worse than putting it on. Needless to say, I returned the unit and ordered another brand wireless slave. It fits all my cameras perfectly and works great.

I bought this because I needed a way to fire my new interfit studio strobes and wasn't sure that I should have gone with a "wireless" radio trigger instead. This infrared remote is just as good and was much less expensive. Can even use it manually to fire the flash when taking light meter readings. Very pleased with my choice and simple use of this product.

I was trying to use a Safe-Sync with my friends studio strobe lights. I was not having any luck getting the strobes to fire. He let me use this transmitter on my camera. It was fantastic! I had to be in line with the sensors on the flash heads to have them recieve the signal but it wasn't bad. I have a Rebel XT so there is no socket to plug in a PC cord. This is a fantastic device.

The IRX fits onto the cameras hotshoe, and emits a wide infra red beam which ensures successful triggering of all infra red sensitive flash units.
