I just got these lights and I think they are great for what I need. I am mostly using them for video and interview shoots in a relatively small room. I only wish that there was a carry case for the lights. It's inconvenient to bring to sites without a carry bag.

The product will be used to take church directory portraits. It provides even and excellent lighting. One of the two 500w bulbs included in the kit did not work. Thankfully, I ordered two extra with my original order.

Being used to assist in studio lighting for commercial management and technical training video broadcasts. Compact, easy to position, transportable but would be more desirable if carrying cases or bags came as at least an option.

Used indoors mostly in a stationary setup pointing at objects less than 10 feet away. Work excellently with included tungsten bulbs and umbrellas. I also used them outdoors once during an artwalk and swapped the bulbs for spots and didn't use the umbrellas, this allowed me to put the lights high up and pointing down so they weren't in peoples eyes as they walked around. This is a good, inexpensive kit for medium to low travel usage. They get tipsy if extended all the way up with umbrellas with the wind outdoors. Definitely had to weight the bases for that, but that is physics after all.
