Shopper : Iam looking at a interfit INT 458 xd 600 And a Flashpoint ll 1220M 600w which one better?ALBERT D : Well I own the “interfit” so I will say that it’s a better buy but, I do believe that "both" brands are a great buy. It's really just a choice in personal taste. My “Interfit’s” work just fine for me and the jobs that I use them for. Also I chose the "Interfit" because I already use other items made by that company. But on that same note, I've found more accessary items on line for the "Flashpoint" models such as soft boxes, strip boxes, aux batteries etc. and this makes it very convenient when you are trying to expand.RUSSELL W : Flash Point Take My Word For It !!!ROBERT S : With out ever using the interfit mono light I really can't give you any kind of a comparison. But the Flash point model has worked fine , plus I believe the cost is lower as well. Flash point also has a wide range of light modifiers and other attachments available and a lower cost as well, take a look at the PZ soft boxes by Flash point.. They are easy to set up and made well. I have read several reviews of the Flash point lights and they were rated highly, so I purchased two of them, I don't think you could go wrong with these lights at the price they are offered at.

Great light. Great Price.

600 watts is plenty for the small-medium portrait work I typically do. The digital controls give nice, precise, and consistent output. I use the Yongnuo RC-603C radio triggers with this. I really like the Adorama 21" Beauty Dish mounted to this one, but even a big 60 inch umbrella is no problem for the power output. Only been using it a couple weeks, so no verdict on longevity yet. This is great studio strobe for most common/typical situations. The recycle time is 2-3 seconds but, I'm fine with that. Shaving off 1-2 seconds isn't that big of a concern for me when the cost of doing so is doubling or tripling my digital strobe price. Highly Reccommended. Probably will buy another.

Great Strobe System

No need to break the bank or get yourself into some deep debt. As long as you have "skills and common sense" then these strobes are just what you need. I use these strobes for inside use only. They are very reliable, easy to set up, great light (flash), you don't have to be a "rocket scientist" to operate them. Great lighting for portraits and modeling.

The Interfit Stellar XD 600 Watt/Seconds Monolight has an all-digital rear control panel and user-friendly push button controls. The rear control panel shows flash and modelling lamp intensity and the switches that allow the choice of audible or silent recycling indication and proportional or full power modelling lamp setting.

Fan cooling ensures that the flash capacitors and associated circuitry are kept to their optimum working temperature even during periods of prolonged use. User changeable flash tubes ensure both long life and color consistency.
