This is my go-to modifier for outdoor shooting without an assistant. It folds up into a small, lightweight pouch that carries effortlessly, and can be set up and taken down very quickly. With the [included] diffuser installed and a descent stand, beach shoots in mild wind, haven't had any close calls with tipping over the stand. I haven't had it long enough to attest for the durability, but if it were to break, it's a no-brainer to repurchase.

I’ve used a lot of softboxes over the years. Some are great and some are horrible, but the one thing they all have in common is a price that equals their usability and build. The least expensive one I ever bought started falling apart after the first few uses and has long since gone to the landfill, and the used Chimera I had is still chugging along. The Interfit foldable 28” beautydish is the only one that breaks that pattern. The price was just too good to ignore, and I was looking for a medium sized softbox to use with my Flashpoint XPLOR 600. I figured, what the hell, it’s probably a POS but that price is just too tempting. I’ll buy it, try it out on a family portrait I had scheduled, and then return it to Adorama. Several shoots later and it’s my new favorite light modifier. It’s portable, the quality of light is good, and it seems well built. Of course time (and lots of assignments) will be the final verdict, but so far I’m confident. Confident enough that I’m on Adorama’s website looking for other Interfit products to add to my gear bag. Somebody mentioned the white softbox cover being so poorly attached that it’ll blow away in a breeze. I think that’s an exaggeration, but one thing I did do was get small, self-stick pieces of velcro and attach them to the cover and the beauty dish. Problem (if it exists) solved! ;)

I purchased this along with the Flash Point eVLOV200 becuase I needed better lighting for on-location shoots. Not only does this fold into a very potable bag but the build quality is great! Lets out light beautify!

This little portable beauty dish is pretty great. I didn't give it 5 stars because I would have loved to have a grid to go with it. Also, the diffusion sock falls off in even a slight breeze. But having said that, I use it regularly and it holds up to my abuse. I like the quality of light I get from it, and it is so convenient to use with my Flashpoint evolv 200.
