I rented this and it had horrible wifi based connection which kept breaking up. It's practically useless to fly unless application is roof inspections or something very nearby. It's useless for keeping it within visual line of sight applications beyond 100 ft. Additionally, the thermal camera is lower resolution and suffers from performance issues compared to other offerings from Autel and DJI. For $7k, you can get a far superior alternative.

I was very fortunate to acquire one of these and I am absolutely BLOWN away by the technology. It only weight 500 grams, uses Bio-mimicry to take advantage of nature's already perfect technology. (the air foils mimic a humpback whales dorsal fin and that is the perfect air foil. It is quiet and the thermal is absolutely amazing: it zooms in 32X! For smaller departments this is a must have if budget is an issue. For larger departments it will work just as good but remember.....a drone is only as good as its operator. Training and hard work make for a successful drone pilot and this beauty is just what the Doctor ordered. Hey if its good enough for the U.S Army (i'm a Vet.) its good enough for me! A perfect companion for firefighters, police and government at an affordable price.
