Look up your plant's factsheet to view photos, find out about its origins, basic needs and many practical tips.

Real-Time Chart Plotting And Log
Real-time information shows you what happens when you water or move your plant. You can find out more by viewing the log.

A Forget-Me-Not Diary
Get data analysis and spot-on tips. Your diary helps you plan your gardening by predicting when you need to water over the next two weeks.

Measuring Temperature
The sensor which measures air temperature is called a thermistor. Plants have different needs in terms of temperature range. Flower Power helps you to keep each plant within its ideal range.

Measuring Fertilizer
To determine how fertile your soil is, Flower Power measures electrical conductivity. This indicates the number of ions in the soil. Ions come from fertilizer. The more ions there are in the soil, the more fertile it is.

Measuring Soil Moisture
To assess soil moisture, Flower Power measures dielectric permittivity. The more moisture in the soil, the higher the permittivity.

Measuring Luminosity
Photosynthesis is essential for plants. They cannot survive without it. Flower Power measures light at around 510 nm, which is the best wavelength range for plants to produce energy through photosynthesis.
