I Love the globe diffuser. It works well for the main light or a fill. It has a nice soft light. I am very impressed with the results. This is a great value.

Fits very well on my 580EX flash. No loose movement on the flash.

First off, I expected the donut hole in the middle. This reflector is so small that the light loss in the middle a given. But I didn't expect it to be so pronounced with a wide angle lens or at a distance - it's terrible. And at a distance of over 10 feet there is a dramatic light loss. 85mm great, 50mm good, anything wider and with the subject farther that 5 feet and the donut appears. Adding a diffuser over the dish helps, but you get more light loss. This beauty dish also weighs half a pound. Granted 8 ounces isn't a lot, but it makes the flash top heavy to the front when facing forward, putting a lot of strain on the hot shoe mount. The bulky size, even though small, makes it prone to being bumped and has the possibility of breaking off the hot shoe of the flash.This item is only good for studio type work in my opinion. It is not a good choice for a mobile camera situation like weddings or events.

Make sure you buy the correct fitting for your flash The fitting is EXTREMELY tight on the Canon 580EXII but remember it's flexible material so you can stretch it carefully onto the flash head. Don't give up if it doesn't appear to fit at first. Don't buy the flex mount unless you are buying the kit - great value with the Interfit Portrait Kit

Great if you want one to go with the kit so you don't have to tear down the lightbox to use the other effects. It is just a piece of rubber to fit the flash. Get the kit first.
