It's take a while to understand how to use these strobe flashes properly. I've had good success & frustration. I was in the same room today & had trouble getting them to sync together. Bounce the light or softbox it. Use the umbrella or the snoot. What intensity of flash to use. It's so hard to control the flash burn or shine on objects even when they are bounced sometime. The pros said I should use something even more powerful. I find that hard to believe. I wanted to start at at a price point under [$]. I've got 3 Stellar 300's, 3 stands, 3 softboxes, snoot, remote flash. We'll move up later if I feel the need. For know, gain some knowledge & experience seems the best approach.
