All that an adapter needs to have - 3 in 1
I can use this on top of a stand thanks to it's quarter inch adapter, or I can also place it on top of my camera's hotshoe and has also a cable to fire any flash that I put on top.

Handy Adapter, Good Price
This is a handy device for mounting a hot shoe flash to a tripod, or other 1/4"-20 threaded stand. It has two parallel PC sync plugs for greater flexibility. It allows you to use a pc sync cable from your camera to a hot shoe flash. I have made a pc to 1/8" mono adapter to use any hot shoe flash with my radio slave system. Note: The bottom of the unit is 1/4"-20 female thread, the stud shown in the picture is not included. The unit is not overly robust, but quite good for the price.

An okay adapter
Not the best construction. But, the price is right. Does the job of placing a hotshoe with sync on a stand.
