The CAR-HCX1 is ideal for transporting and protecting the Panasonic HCX1 camera and accessories. For storing more gear, the bag features two exterior padded side pockets, two front and back exterior flat zippered pockets, and two front and back interior slip pockets.An interior camera cradle is included for stabilizing and protecting your HCX1 during transport. A detachable divider, removable microphone pocket, and detachable PB-B9 stuff sack are included in the bag. They can be arranged to your liking to provide internal structure and organization inside the main compartment. A polyester foam core lines the Veltex interior of the case for soft, protective padding.The outside of the bag is made of 1000-D Cordura nylon and features suede accents. There is a skid-resistant waterproof bottom, as well as two solid steel clip rings for attaching accessories, like keys, on the outside of the bag. This case features reverse zippers that are sewn in upside-down for added durability. The zipper pulls are moved back to the top and function normally. You can carry your bag using the removable shoulder strap or the suede grip handles. Like all of our soft cases, the CAR-HCX1 is manufactured in Vermont, USA.

The bag fits the camera well. The confusing element is that I ended up getting 2 of the same model number designed for the Panasonic HC-X1 . While the bags themselves are the same the shoulder straps are different, one is a bit better then the other with leather at the top. One of the bags appears to be designed for the intended video camera associated with the order having an inner bag with a white card. The other appears to be the same bag designed for a still camera having a lens case inside and no white card and case. Both bags had the same product tag on them. I would have preferred both to be identical. As for sample photo, outside color is black, inside color is gray.
