The unique design of the CS-PX270 features a single, robust YKK zipper that spans the entire length of the case. This design ensures an extra-wide opening, facilitating effortless removal and replacement of the camera and other contents. A padded 9-inch "stuff-sack" with a soft nylon lining is included, providing a safe haven for lenses or other delicate items. The case also features a Camera Cradle and Tie-Down Cinch, designed to secure your camera in place, even during turbulent travel conditions. A White Balance Card with a convenient wrist strap and a comfortable suede shoulder strap are also part of the package.Crafted from durable, abrasion-resistant 1000-denier Cordura nylon, the CS-PX270 case is treated with a protective urethane waterproof coating (DWR). The case body is constructed using 1-3/4" foam, and the bottom panel is reinforced with 8.0mm hollow core plastic and an extra layer of foam. The exterior bottom is lined with a layer of anti-skid Slip-Not material, offering an additional level of protection against water, dirt, and grime. The main zipper is shielded by a Cordura flap to help prevent damage and keep water from entering the case. The case features "Concealed Zippers", which "reverse" the zipper facings to prevent snagging and extend the life of the zippers. High-quality, bonded thread is used and double-seamed in areas that typically support more weight or are susceptible to additional wear and tear. All thread-ends are burned to prevent loose threads or running on seams. Genuine suede is used to provide extra comfort and durability to the carrying handles and shoulder strap. The removable strap has thick steel clasps that clip to the CS-PX270's strong, nickel-plated steel rings. The main compartment of the CS-PX270 is 21-1/2" long, 8 inches wide, and 10 inches tall. It can accommodate cameras up to 21 inches in length but can also securely fit smaller cameras, allowing for additional accessory storage. The case also features a large exterior pocket, perfect for tablets, cables, a shotgun mic, and an optional rain cover. A 20" long slip-pocket on the back of the case is ideal for carrying the White Balance Card (included), owner's manuals, airline tickets, and other documents. It?s nice but it could be a but bigger. Barely fits with my Sennheiser mounted. That said, it?s still a nice bag. Makes it easier to do run and gun than a Pelican.
