The case's body is constructed using 1 3/4-inch foam, while the bottom panel is reinforced with 8.0mm hollow core plastic and an additional layer of foam for enhanced protection.

The exterior bottom of the case is lined with an anti-skid Slip-Not material, offering an extra layer of protection against water, dirt, and grime. The main zipper is safeguarded by a Cordura flap to prevent damage and keep water from entering the case. The case also features "Concealed Zippers", which "reverse" the zipper facings to prevent snagging and extend the life of the zippers.
