awesome - and note the price

This case is perfect for hand-held video cams and all their accy's. It might be a challenge to get a GL2 in here, but the maker says it's do-able. I put an HV20 and EVERYTHING that goes with it, plus an extension cord ... no problem. The Pick-out foam is easy to work with, just be careful, because there is no going back! BTW - its waterproof and airtight, and it has a switch to lock the air out (and relieve the pressure before opening) ... I don't plan on testing it! Also note that the locking clasps appear to be that "forged plastic" so it's strong, but once broken, not fixable. For the price this product is AMAZING. At a higher price, the product is still worth buying.

Great Value for Field Production

The case has served me when traveling to locations with moist and dusty condtions, Basically I use it to carry my Canon XH-A1, bateries and a few tapes. The case in this size won't accomodate a matte box and rails plus the camera.

Would buy another Porta Bracehard case.

For my specific use it would have been better to have velcro padded compartments, for a more versatile case. For few large photo/video equipment, the pick & plug foam would be more than adequate, and does lower the price and makes the case lighter. I'm using my case to carry batteries, chargers, and underwater strobe arms.
