I bought this for one purpose and that was to protect my video camera and equipment. And it does just that. It looks tough it feels tough and you can lock it. If you want protection and I know you do then buy this hard case you won't be dissapointed.

When security and protection is imporant

I use this to haul very delicate equipment on the field and I could rest assured they are kept from banging on to each other by the great dense pads and little foam insulated baggies for lenses, mics and an extra camera. They even have a little bean bag to hug those odd shaped pieces of equipment and act as fillers too. This is one product that was well designed. I work in cold Canadian winters and those little bags add a little bit of protection from moisture (condensation) when going indoors.

Best case - ever !

The pick and pluck foam is a little tricky to deal with, and my final result isn't perfect on the inside. But my HVR-Z1U is held snugly in place, which is my main concern. And I can carry it on an airplane.
