Panasonic AJ-YAX800G P2 Proxy File Encoder Card

The Panasonic AJ-YAX800G Proxy File Encoder Card allows select P2 HD camcorders, including the AJ-HPX2000, AJ-HPX3000, AJ-HPX2700 (VariCam 2700), AJ-HPX3700 (VariCam 3700) camcorders to record MPEG4 proxy (low-resolution) data onto the card along with full-resolution data. The card enhances news production and simplifies long-format program editing, including documentaries and reality television. The card can record files at 1.5Mbps, 768kbps and 196kbps. Proxy data can also be recorded onto an SD Memory Card mounted in this slot to provide for easy viewing on a laptop PC.
