With the AW-UE160 4K UHD HDMI/3G-SDI/IP Integrated 20x PTZ Camera, you can elevate your video production to new heights. This advanced camera system, available in a convenient 3-pack bundle with an AW-RP150GJ Touchscreen Remote Camera Controller, is designed to deliver superior image quality and performance in a variety of settings, from concert venues to churches, sports broadcasts to live events.
The AW-UE160 PTZ camera is powered by a newly developed 4K 1" MOS sensor, the most sensitive in Panasonic's PTZ lineup. This ensures clear, crisp images even in challenging lighting conditions. The camera's optical low pass filter minimizes moire effects, ensuring a clear picture quality when shooting against LED walls - a crucial feature for rental and staging or worship environments.
This PTZ camera is the first to support the SMPTE ST2110 standard and 5G router, setting a new standard for IP transmission in the broadcasting industry. It also supports return input and high-speed shooting, making it an indispensable tool for combining with a system camera. The camera's flexibility allows for unique video expressions, with specifications comparable to those of a system camera.
The AW-UE160 supports HDMI, 3G-SDI, and IP output, as well as 12G-SDI output and optical fiber output. It also features two XLR channels for audio input. The output method can be tailored to suit your operation, making it easy to integrate into an existing imaging system or build a new one.
The camera's next-generation image processing engine, also used in the LUMIX GH6, enhances processing power. High-pixel image data output from the 1-type (1") MOS sensor is processed at high speed to improve the S/N ratio. The camera's autofocus performance has been greatly improved, ensuring highly accurate AF by discriminating between the subject's movement and characteristics.
The AW-UE160 is equipped with a new AF system that combines phase detection AF with contrast AF. This ensures fast focusing speed and high focusing accuracy, enabling the camera to track subjects and capture in-focus images. The camera also supports the FreeD protocol, allowing for the integration of robotic camera systems into virtual studios without an encoder.
The camera's Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF) helps address moire, a common challenge when shooting against LED walls. The OLPF feature smooths out the total surface area for high-quality video output. The camera's high sensitivity of F14/2000 lx ensures clear images even in dimly lit locations.
The AW-UE160 PTZ camera also features Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) & Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), ensuring stable images with reduced blurring. The camera is equipped with a front and rear tally lamp, allowing you to see the camera status from any angle. The camera also supports 2x high-speed video output, capturing smooth and beautiful slow-motion video at FHD 120 fps.
The camera's cropping function allows for crop-zoom and cut-out video at the same time as outputting an entire video shot in 4K. The camera also supports V-LOG output, compatible with Panasonic's high-end VariCam cinema cameras and LUMIX mirrorless cameras. The camera also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range), ensuring picture quality close to that of the naked eye.
With the AW-UE160 4K UHD HDMI/3G-SDI/IP Integrated 20x PTZ Camera, you can simplify multi-camera deployment and color matching. The camera's scene file function allows users to save up to eight scene files containing various camera settings and copy them to multiple cameras via a PC. This reduces on-location setup time when shooting at events with large numbers of cameras. The camera's color matrix control allows sensory adjustment of color on the screen, making color matching easier.
