The AW-UE160 is the first PTZ Camera to support the SMPTE ST2110 standard for video transmission over IP networks. This feature allows for the construction of an IP-based studio system, improving the efficiency of your video production workflow. This camera also supports high bandwidth NDI and high efficiency low bandwidth NDI|HX, enabling high-quality, low-latency live video transmission.
The AW-UE160 PTZ camera uses a new-generation image processing engine, resulting in improved processing power. The high-pixel image data output from the 1-type (1") MOS sensor is processed at high speed to improve the S/N ratio. The camera's autofocus performance has been greatly improved, achieving highly accurate AF by discriminating between the subject's movement and characteristics.
This camera is equipped with a new AF system that combines phase detection AF with contrast AF. The fast focusing speed and high focusing accuracy enable it to track subjects and capture in-focus images. The AW-UE160 also features the FreeD protocol, providing the option to output Pan / Tilt / Zoom / Iris information directly from the camera to your tracking system.
The Panasonic AW-UE160 has an integrated Optical Low Pass Filter (OLPF), which helps address moire. This feature is particularly beneficial when shooting against LED walls. The camera's high sensitivity allows for clear, clean images even in dimly lit locations. The camera also features roll correction that uses electronic image processing technology to provide highly effective correction.
The AW-UE160 features an additional tally lamp on the camera rear, allowing you to see the camera status from any angle.
