I purchased this BR player so I could watch 3D on my new 3D TV. It works great, and it is very easy to install and use.

Connected to Netflix on the first try, light, sleak and loads super fast. Highly recommended!

Blu Ray picture quality is excellent. Have not watched a 3D Blu Ray yet but am optimistic that it will be good.

Very quick loading BlueRay player. Built in WiFi and software updates to keep it current! I have 2 of these plays in our beach house and one at home. We have had no issues using them - and they play Netflix nicely. 3D replays nicely on our Panasonic TC-P60ST50. Would recommend this player!

This is a player that performs well (which one doesn't?) and is reasonably fast at loading BluRay discs. On the plus side, you can use it to watch YouTube videos, which is not the case with all the systems. On the other hand, it is terribly slow at loading Netflix (the app itself, not the movies). If you are going to use Netflix a lot, I would rather recommend a Roku 3 which is much faster.

We watch blu ray and dvd's on it as well as stream Netflix. Easy setup, easy to use, good picture quality. Takes a while to load Netflix.

Had this one for just about a month. Chose this model on reasonable price and list of standard features incl. streaming. Its worked great on BR disks, DVDs, and streaming has been excellent. Would recommend to a casual home movie watcher.

Great player. Does the basics like BluRay/DVD/CD but also other media. Loving the streaming radio and Pandora. Very intuitive (to me) interface.

I replaced my 6 month old Sony BluRay player with this Panasonic. The Sony player took forever to load a disc and the internet apps too. Total waste of time. This Panasonic is superior to the Sony in everyway.

Adorama had by far the best price. This unit was one of the highest rated Blu-Ray players by Consumer Reports and better than some others rated higher in quality of standard DVD image.

I typically have 2 or 3 players/transports and a Panasonic player is usually among them. They've always been reliable. This BDT220 had trouble with a Netflix blu-ray rental, even after the firmware was updated. That sort of problem can come up, mostly with rental discs, and its why I always have another brand player in the setup (it played that Netflix disc). Other than that it has worked without any problem.

Easy to setup - used the wired connection to Internet thru Verizon - no Issues - updated firmware quickly. Easy to navigate menu Picture quality great - direct attach to TV thru HDMI but send Audio thru Optical to decoder. USB thumb drive with all music inserted - plays as expected - Shows Folder titles and song titles. Goes to Screen saver a little quick - but not an issue.

Did not have any of the problems other reviewers had. Netflix works fine. Only takes about 15 seconds to connect. After that have not had any drop outs. Perhaps my Cox modem and internet speed is faster than the other reviewers with problems. Also, some folks create their own problems and are never satisfied.

The player received great marks all around the internet and I can see why; it performs very well and has great apps to access online streaming services. Player boots discs quickly and playback quality is top notch. As a bonus, I like the ability to control the player with my smartphone. The only qualm is that the user interface isn't ... well, user friendly. Maybe it's because I'm accustom to the fancy bells and whistles that surround us on all our other electronic devices. Not a deal breaker, but something that could use improvement.

Using with a Panasonic 3D LED-LCD TV. 3D bluray works great, DVD's work great. DLNA wouldn't play anything that my Panasonic TV plays! And there's no software updates available (1 was found when I first hooked it up, about one month ago).

Great product, works as expected, I wish it had support to ultraviolet and that skype works with other USB cameras than those expensive ones from Panasonic. Mobile app is a good replacement to a full keyboard remote.

Absolutely the best Blu-Ray for the price on the market bar none! It was really easy to set up and the Wireless is terrific enabling me to get Pandora music off the internet 24/7! It has an ultra lightweight design and is very small and thin so it hardly take up any room at all. The remote is very well designed also....can't beat it. Hooah!

Purchased earlier Panasonic DMP-BD87, but needed audio feed for my older stereo set-up, the DMP-BDT220 with optical audio out allows my DTS DVDs to work, fantastic

I had bought and returned several wireless Blu-Ray players, at a competitors store, because they were slow and/or difficult to use. I had even returned another Panasonic with a cell phone type remote that I couldn't seem to master. Then I ran across the Panasonic DMP-BDT220 here at Adorama. Perfect streaming at 1090p. The deal was excellent and the transaction was as perfect as I have come to expect from several deals at Adorama.

Great Blu-Ray Player
By EARL F.
Great job Panasonic! Very intelligent electronics, especially when coupled with new Panasonic LCD/LED TV Slim design fits in tight space. This unit made my 3 year old Blu-Ray player seem like it was from the days of 8 track tapes! The only thing I had trouble with was setting up the WiFi and the individual users. The software for setup and wireless choices is kind of cumbersome to choose what you want to do.
Great product, fast delivery
