I still do a lot of work on tape and I stick to one brand in order to protect the VCR heads in my camcorder. Panasonic has never let me down.

I HAD SENT TO SONY DSR DVCAM VIDEO CAMERA TO BE REPAIRED BECAUSE I HAD LINES ON THE SCREEN WHEN I RECORD, THEY CHANGED THE FULL DRUM/HEAD ASSEMBLY AND CHARGED ME $850, AFTER 10 HOURS OF RECORDING THE SAME PROBLEM CAME BACK, WOW JUST TO SHIP THE CAMERA BACK WAS GOING TO BE AT LEAST $, SO I LOOKED IN ADORAMA AND FOUND THIS HEAD CLEANER, PURCHASED IT, ARRIVED IN 2 DAYS, RAN IT 12 SECONDS ON THE CAMERA AND WOW!! PROBLEM SOLVED!!

I was asked to use a professional mini DV camera that had been sitting for two years in a high dust environment (horse stables). After 2.5 hours of filming the playback had several lines of blank data (distortion). I ordered the Panasonic Head Cleaner hoping this would remedy the situation. All online research said the camera would require professional cleaning and a tune-up, this camera does not have the ability to adjust the heads. I followed the directions and ran ten seconds of cleaner. During playback the majority of distortion was corrected. One more ten second run and everything cleared up. My only con is the print is less than six font.
