So far so good...
Just received my new v750 Panasonic from Adorama! Two things that I noticed about the camcorder is the shoe adapter, it is a separate piece that slides into a slot just above the battery on the back of the camera. Looks like that may be an odd position for a external video light or microphone that might block access to the zoom rocker and photo button. Also noticed that if you record in MP4 1080 50Mbps mode, you cannot record the audio in 5.1 surround, it defaults to stereo. The memory card slot is on the bottom of the camera also close to the battery, the slot is completely blocked when mounted to my Manfrotto MVH500AH video head, smaller video heads may leave clearance, so buy fast large capacity SDXC cards that you do not have to change out during a video shoot. Also missing a hard menu button, only on touchscreen.
The NFC function allowed me to pair my Android phone to the camera quickly and easily, the android app worked great and the response was quick at close range. WiFi connection was also painless.
Those are my initial pros and cons on this camera, it takes crisp smooth video so far during some of my test shots, will update when I get a better idea what this camera can do.
