The camera is amazing and the premium accessory bundle is well worth it. Only issue I had was some items in the accessory bundle were on back order and I was not made aware of this until the items was purchased.

I love, love, love this camcorder. I have been shooting video for several years using a couple of Panasonic point and shoots. I needed to upgrade to 4K since I record a lot of live events and find zooming and panning to be troublesome. I can now shoot a whole stage and then pan and zoom during post-processing. The stabilization at 1080p is absolutely amazing, even at full zoom! At 4K, the stabilization isn't quite as refined, but I have gotten stable video of objects 1/2 mile away at full zoom hand-held! Having a 1/2.5" sensor, I was worried about low light capabilities, but it works much better than I expected and better than my point&shoots. It is very quick to focus and very quick to start up, so it's a great camera for run and gun applications. So far, the sound quality is very good. It doesn't appear to have the overheating issues at 4K that smaller cameras have. I highly recommend it!

I have to say i disagree with ricky's review. A friend of mine has this cam and it show BEAUTIFUL footage! It may have a smaller sensor but maybe you should read before you buy. Anyhow, what kind of sd card were you using? If you used a sdxc you should have been in good shape. But i think you may have used a low grade sd card which can cause the footage you described. By far this is not the worse cam, but a very good one!

I will NEVER EVER recommend this product. Smaller Sensor, Micro HDMI, I was expecting a 1" sensor size on this camcorder for 2018. Panasonic is going backward with its camcorder line.
