The KV-S8127 features high-speed duplex scanning of up to 240 images per minute, the top in its class, plus includes features like mechanical deskew and double-feed re-try. Support a large capacity of 750 sheets via the built-in ADF, advanced hardware image processing and Panasonic's Toughfeed intelligent feed control for scanning a wide range of documents from thin paper to cardboard. The highly durable, long life rollers can scan up to 600,000 documents between replacements.

High-speed Duplex Scanning
The KV-8127 scans at speeds up to 120 ppm/240 ipm, placing these machines in the highest speed class for Panasonic's production scanners. With built-in hardware image processing the document scanning speed is the same when scanning at 200 or 300 DPI.

High Capacity Document Feeder
The KV-S8100 series boasts a high capacity 750 sheet automatic document feeder. Since a large number of documents can be scanned continuously, the frequency of setup operation can be reduced for higher work efficiency.

Flexible Paper Transport System
The KV-S8100 series scanners can easily switch between transport systems via the Paper Exit Direction Selector. The U-turn path is designed for everyday scanning and for thicker or specialty documents, the straight path can be selected.

Durability and Maintenance
The 600,000 sheet long life feed rollers reduce the frequency of roller replacement allowing for a lower total cost of ownership and reduced maintenance requirements.

Panasonic Toughfeed Technology
The KV-S8100 series includes Panasonic's Toughfeed technology, features include stapled document detection, intelligent feed control for mixed media handling, double feed detection, double feed retry and acoustic jam detection. This combination of features ensures your scanned documents are reliably fed while preventing damage to original documents.

Imprinting
The KV-S8100 series offers a variety of imprinting options. A physical pre and post imprinter option can be added to print a customizable alphanumeric string of text on every document scanned through the ADF. This is used to ensure physical scanning of documents have occurred and can be versioned by adding a date or time stamp to indicate when documents have been scanned. In addition, Panasonic's unique digital imprinter function allows you to digitally add a alphanumeric string of text to accomplish the same operation of on imprinter without printing on the original documents.
