Since last iOS update, I now have no remote connectivity. Panasonic needs to do their homework and test iOS updates BEFORE they are released. Bad form on Panasonic's part. Need to get this fixed immediately. My advice to anyone considering purchasing the KX-HNB600W hub, cameras and rest of system is DO NOT BUY it until Panasonic has fixed the issue. This is very frustrating and upsetting not being able to utilize my security system away from home.

I had this KXHN6096W for about a year now. User interface is little bit awkward, but the camera is very good for "live view" in both day and night vision. It was working fine in both IN-HOUSE (via wifi) and AWAY (via 4G-LTE). Recent firmware update (HNB600 7.83) destroyed the AWAY (4G-LTE) connection. System no longer connects when I am out of home. This makes remote viewing not possible which makes this system useless. Panasonic has yet to release a new firmware that corrects this problem. It has been about 3 months now.

Just hosed the hub. Everything was working fine. Got a notification that the firmware should be updated. That went fine. Now it just generates Communication errors. No work anymore.

I have more than one camera system that I remotely access through my phone via the internet and my home wifi network. The Panasonic KX-HNB600W has severe remote connection issues. Despite the fact that the other brands could connect through my current setup, the KX-HNB600W required a custom setup of Port Forwarding on my wifi router (it kept kept on blaming UPnP) and after that still get a "Connection Error (E5-06)" about every other time. So when I get a notification from the Panasonic System, I have to log in to one of my other cameras to look whats going on because the connection to the KX-HNB600W always fails.

Don't waste your money - you will be replacing it soon. As the other reviewer said, it is not compatible with all the voice-activated interfaces - ie alexa, google, IFTTT. If you don't know what those are - learn about them before wasting your money on this. I hope that Panasonic will add some sort of device that makes it compatible with voice-activated devices.

Doesn't make sense. Why leave out support for Amazon? Google Home? IFTTT? SmartThings, Etc.?

I've been reseaching different home security systems and with young kids don't want a monitoring service at this point. Everything is wireless (dect 6 so better than most wireless) and super easy to pair up to this unit. The app is fantastic and setting up rules and if/then logic is super easy and pretty fun. I do recommend getting the FOB as it makes arming and disarming super easy when you have distractions and the app can be a little slow at times to let you get to correct screen to do so.
