This system replaced my older Panasonic 6 handset system The talking caller ID does not say the name of the callers that are in my phone book. It says the phone number just like all other recognized calls. The names were read on my old system. This was the main reason I purchased this model. Also, to listen to a caller's message at a later time than it was first listened to is a task that requires a code rather than having simple access like my previous model. I've only had it for three days. Setup was easy. The screen is easy to read. I have not synced cell phones and hope that it won't create more issues.

Have model kx-tg7875s. I updated from my previous Panasonic set mainly because of the call block feature. This does not have a call block button, nor is there any mention about the call block function in the manual. Want to know how am I suppose to use this function if no directions? Want to know the procedures on how it works.

In the pass 3 months of having this phone line 2 constantly has errors and needs to be check. That is my business line and the number that all my tenants have as a back up line that is direct to the office. Causes me to have irrate customers. Also I purchased an additional phone to work with this phone identical/exact to the cordless phones that came with this system and it does not sync with the phone at all. This phone hold button does not work properly, and there is so much static on the line at times I can't understand my tenants and vise versa. There is no way to change the channel that the phone is piped threw. Unfornately for me the store I purchased these items through only has a 30 day return policy so I'm stuck with this unuseable equipment that is disguised a 2 line phone service with capabilities of adding an additional phone, NOT.

Many features, looked a bit intimidating, codes, etc. Followed directions and set up was easy and successful. Download cell contacts to phone worked well, even though I got a call during process...went back and finished download. Manual index is just ok, downloaded manual at web, good for word search. Also support site is just wonderful. Very well organized and search friendly.

I bought this to replace an 8 year old Panasonic system. The range is awful. If I walk out the back door (only a living room between base and handset) it loses it's connection (i.e get busy). The little icon never states that it is out of range. My older technology phone had twice the range. I could be in the neighbor's yard and get a connection. Now I see that there is a separate range extender you can buy for this? I never needed a range extender before, not for my WIFI nor my phone, looks like Panasonic is trying to upsell other products to make the main product work correctly. There is also a lot of static on the line. I don't have the cell linked to it anymore because there were issues there too. For example if my cell is out of range I can't access the phone book on the Panasonic (huh?). It sounds like Panasonic doesn't have the quality it once did and it is too late for me to return this.

I checked the website for compatibility to my iPhone 6 (2 of them) before purchasing it and was told it was compatible. It is not. The phone will not pair with my iPhones. Customer service first told me they were working on the problem and when I called backed they denied the problem and told me it was Apple's issue. Apple was helpful, but confirmed that it is a Panasonic problem. I have no other problems with pairing bluetooth devices.

This phone's Text Msg Alert (TMA) worked w/ my Galaxy S4, but doesn't work w/ Galaxy S8+ (AT&T; Android Ver 7.0). Panasonic's TMA app doesn't fix the issue. TMA is a great feature and Panasonic needs to work with Samsung FIX ISSUE!!!

I cannot for the life of me figure out why it rings in my house but not for callers. Your website is the worst. Your support is less than none.

I have now had my phone for nearly one year. I have never regretted my purchase and if you follow the instructions in the book that came with the phone it is not too hard to setup. My only objection to this phone is I am cell only and one cell phone being used. If I take my cell phone with me and someone else is at my house while I am gone there is no phone connection if they need to use. This is not the fault of Panasonic but something I encountered. I like the fact that since I am cell only I don't have to carry my cell phone around while in my home as I have five receivers plus the cell phone that I can answer.

The phone is pretty easy to use. The lack of hold button is a little irritating, having to press menu then down then hold then select. Not good for fast pace working. The hold music is absolutely horrible. Couldn't figure out how to change it, finally decided to chat with someone online and she resolved it pretty quickly and easily. Overall it's not that bad, it works :)

I avoided Panasonic phones in the past as they were too slim and uncomfortable to hold. They fixed that problem with my last set but these newer ones are pushed a bit smaller again. I would really love to see nice round ear pieces but it seems style is more important than function with these. Overall, the Bluetooth seems to work well. I had an issue with quality over my VoIP with this new model but removing an old unused corded phone seemed to fix the issue. This system seems to need a bit more power than my last system. I would love to see them programmable via a computer like the Harmony remotes. There is just too much going on to be using the limitations of the hand set.

This model sucks. I have to override the time every day. We are on Daylight savings time and every midnight it changes back one hour. I've done everything possible and it still resets. No live chat available from Panasonic and no live person to help fix this issue.

These must be the worst phones I have ever used. I get static and constant drops or "Busy" on the screen when answering a phone call. It seems that the range is very poor. My 10 year old Panasonic phones I could almost go up the block.. Now in a few rooms over I cross my fingers hoping I dont have issues whenever I answer the phone now. If I still had the box it would have gone back. Stay away!

I work for 25 years in the military reading and following instructions. Yours is the most confusing I have ever read. I am still trying to set some of the features. Who wrote them, one of your engineers?

We have had these phones for a while now and they work great. I was a little iffy after reading some other reviews but ordered them anyway. I didn't need the instructions for anything other than to figure out how to program the phones. I thought it would be all done by the base unit but you program each phone how you would like it to be. Each phone can have a different ring or same ring along with many other settings you can do independently. Haven't checked out the range yet but they come with papers showing a distance optimizer that you can purchase if you need more range. I have had no issues other than not to fond of the caller ID voice. It does not pronounce the words very well on who is calling. I can make it out but its a little hard to understand it at times. Not a big deal as I don't get many calls every day. I suggest buying this if your thinking about it. I'm very satisfied with this product. Also should add its nice to be able to hook up two cell Phones to the base unit with blue tooth. Very easy to set them up, Just turn on your phones blue tooth and press 1 or 2 on the base. It a will show device found on your cell phone and press connect. After that as long as you have your blue tooth turned on in range of the base unit your calls will come in through the base unit to all five phones. Awesome feature right there.

My last Panasonic phones were great - these are absolutely junk. No range - at 25 feet from base, they may or may not work. Crackling, popping noises for those calling our home. Very disappointed...

This phone was good. It had a good volume and I liked how it had 5 handsets, which we really utilized. We had two problems. The first problem was the ring count. Even though we set the ring number to "2 Rings," the ring count gradually increased until it was ringing about 8 times and was really annoying. The second problem was the ability to call our home number. When we tried to call our home number, the phone we were calling with said, "We're sorry, but the person you are calling has a voice mailbox that has not been set up yet...Goodbye." So we are in great doubt as to the capability of the phone to receive (and store) voicemail messages. For all we know, many people could have called us and left a message, and we would not even know. These problems are getting really annoying.

Gave up my landline because I was just paying to have solicitors call on it. Bought this on recommendation of a friend. It was easy to set up and import all my contacts from my cell. I like not having to have my cell hooked to my hip all the time and being able to answer from < almost> anywhere in my house.

Long had Panasonic phones and loved them until I ran across this bast..d phone. Wanted it because it had clal blocking and Bluetooth. But instead of sticking with its very satisfactory operating system, Panasonic chose to really complicate matters requiring users to enter numbers to do operations which users could do by just punching keys on the older phones. And there are more than 100 numbers for different operations. Does Panasonic expect users to have perfect memories to remember all those numbers? Worse yet, the instructions that come with the phones are microscopic and require a magnifying glass to read. Only wy to read them is download the Manual in PDF. Thanks Panasonic but no thanks. Won't waste my money on a Panasonic again. Took this phone back to the seller.

I can't believe it has a noise reduction button where the HOLD button belongs. Great base station and answer machines. i use it with a headset instead of the handset but when on the handset and line 2 rings try fumbling thru a menu to get to a hold selection. Even a soft HOLD selection in the window which popped up when on an active call would be better then a MENU. By the time you find HOLD, the line stopped ringing or you accidentally hang up on the line you originally used. Imagine putting a NOISE REDUCTION button in place of HOLD. Let the NOISE REDUCTION go to menu selection. This is probably my 4th or 5th panasonic 2 line phone, great base but the handset needs a quick action HOLD button.

Replaced older model Panasonic home phone system. Has new features for call blocking of up to 250 TELEMARKETER phone#'s PLUS silencing of the ringer when they call!!! Otherwise, it works great as a home phone system with great coverage of my home.

We have purchased Panasonic cordless phones in the past and were always satisfied. Our oldest model needed an update so I purchased this model as a Christmas gift. So far we have been very happy with it. Our only complaint is the pronunciation of names when a call comes in: I understand that it is phonetically based, but it would be a nice feature to record your own pronunciation for frequent callers.

This Bluetooth phone set is so convenient. I can answer my cell and land line from any phone in the house. These phones even let me know when I have a text on my cell. Sound is clear and there are many features like call block, silent, etc.

Beware Connect2Cell Feature
By Sad U.
Nothing warns before purchase that the connct2cell feature only works with some cell phones. After calling support they directed me to the Canadian website for a chart of compatible cell phones. And none of the compatible cell phones for the TG78 series that I purchased is identified as being compatible with the ring-as-cell feature for any of the compatible cell phones. Given that the cell features were a major reason for my purchase, this has come as an unwelcome surprise. The connect2cell...

Worth the upgrade!
By Wife h.
We also upgraded from a perfectly functional set of Panasonic wireless phones. The additional cell capabilities make it worth the money. We'll give the old set to one of the kids. Granted, I am still in the honeymoon phase, but the initial set up and install was instant. After that I spent 30 minutes pairing up to cell phones and testing that. Works great. Downloading my cell phone contacts worked right out of the manual. My wife's cell phone required her to take action on the cell phone w...
