This is the second set I have purchased. They work well and the price is fair.

The phone is ok, but the sp-phone isn't very loud, could be louder, plus if u don't use the sp-phone, it is hard to hear person on the other end.

This phone is easy to set up and has a wealth of useful features. I got it for my mom who wears a hearing aid and she has no problems using the phone with or without them. There is no problem with sound quality on either side of the call. I am very happy with them so far and would recommend them to anyone.

the phone is a replacement for an older version Panasonic. I wear a hearing aid and need clarification of sounds and the ability to reduce background noise from incoming calls. My husband can't read the phone info on the handsets. I hate having to say what??? when speaking to callers on cell phones. This model has large clear numbers/letters. Is easy to set up. We have had the talking caller ID for years and did not want to give it up. We can hear and see with ease. The noise reduction mode is easy to use and I'm happy with the sound quality. I'd recommend this phone to anyone.

We've had these phones for 1-1/2 years and haven't had any problems. They are used with our Comcast triple play.

Phone was great until I could not use the base for messages, support told me to send for repair - only place is TX, not worth it.

I bought this phone because it had a 'handset equalizer' feature to adjust tone of voice of the person you're talking to. To do this you had to ask the person to hold while you look at the handset, press menu, find and select 'equalizer', press ok, then get back to the person you called to see if changing to 'treble' or 'normal' on the equalizer actually helped or made them more difficult to hear. You could not switch to 'equalizer' while talking on speaker phone. This feature was unrealistic and cumbersome. I paid $10 more than advertised, returned the phones and had to pay a 15% restocking fee.

Be aware, this phone does not work with Magic Jack service. It appears to at first, until you call a phone number with automated phone system where you need to press 1 for x option, press 2 for y option, and so on. This phone will not work with a system like that if you have magic jack. I went through 2 brand new phones of this model, a LOT of troubleshooting and a LOT of aggravation to finally come to that conclusion. Don't buy this phone if you have Magic Jack.

This phone was very easy to set up. It comes with a manual which has instructions and data easy to understand and follow. Setting up initial settings and fine tuning settings was so easy. I love the large display. I have no trouble using this phone.

The people who are giving this phone 4 or 5 stars haven't had it very long. I loved it at first but within a few months it was popping and buzzing. The range from the base unit to the furthest handset is only about 50 feet before you get static. And finally, after about a year, the intercom is unusable because it pops so much. It's got a lot of great features but the basic purpose of a phone is to TALK and this one won't do that for very long before it starts dying on you.

Still comes with paper manual with step by step instructions that helps with easy setup. Very nice display on handsets and lighted keypads a big plus. Really like compact base unit that offers choices in locating base unit. Sound quality very good and ease of retrieving messages from handsets is a plus.

I recently bought this product and I was a bit bothered by the fact that the toll saver feature is set at two rings and five rings. My previous phone gave me control of the ring count before the unit answers. In my case I prefer two/four for the following reason: I had the voice mail of my service provider set to pick up on the fifth ring with the phone set to two/four. This worked very well. I do not see any advantage to going to two/five. I feel this should be up to me to decide as the user of the system. Your pre-determining of this setting just makes it take longer for the caller to wait for the machine to pick up. If I do not use the toll saver feature I can set the machine to answer on the fourth ring. Why can't the answering ring count be the same and under my control?

I purchased this phone at a local store. It would not play the greeting, and messages were not left, becase the caller didn't know there was an answering machine. I exchanged it for the same phone, and after plugging and unplugging the phone several times, the greeting finall played. However, callers cannot hear me. The phone is difficult to set up. Too many steps to just listen to a message, even though the only messages I got were "Hello...Hello."

Bought this phone months ago, but while talking on either hand set my voice would echo back to me. The other end of my call couldn't hear it. I turned it in & bought the same model. At 1st, only 1 handset echoed a little. By the 3rd day, all handsets echoed again. When I 1stI used a headset on them with the 2nd set, it didn't echo, but 3 weeks later, the echoing started up again through the head set on all handsets. The phone company came out & changed all my phone lines & cables & it didn't help. I know it's the phone, because I have an older Panasonic model that I still use & that speaker never echos. Battery keeps dying after using it 1/2 the day. the phone is even a month old. I put it on the charger at night. I've even tried waiting until it was completely dead, in hopes it would hold the charge longer, but it hasn't.

The phone is all I had hoped for when I picked it because of the block and voice ID's. Works great, and price was very good.

This phone is great, set up took about 3 minutes all plug and play right out of the box. The battery lasts days of the charge with minimal use. Sound clarity of the speaker is excellent and the talking caller ID is a nice bonus and sound is clear and precise. Best feature; the silent mode which you can select for a time of your choosing to no be disturbed. Overall great quality, the type we have come to expect from Panasonic.

After reading the online manual we set the 3 minute message feature but the phone doesn't record at all. I cannot hear callers but they can hear me during active calls. Phone periodically has static. System did not come with user manual; had to search for manual online. A phone should be primarily plug and play but this one has so many issues you have to read the entire manual to figure out how to dial a call.... not really but it is not a system I would recommend. It was for my 80 year old mother and will be returned. The Panasonic I have in my home is great so I'm not sure if it's the quality of this system or if it has manufacturing issues. Either way it's going back to the store.

Replaced a older panasonic phone that lasted about 15 years, I really liked the fact that they did away with the old rechargable battery packs and use regular AA rechargable batteries. Sound is good, no backround noise. Display and keypad is large and easy to see. Set up was very easy, never used the manual just moved around in the menus and set what I wanted. It does have alot more options that I will never use but that is not a problem. Ultimately great phone for the money

I have had Panasonic cordless phones for years and when it was time to replace, I did not hesitate to buy Panasonic again. However I have to say I am disappointed. The sound quality is terrible. And the "noise reduction" feature doesn't seem to make a difference.

This phone has more features than I can use. The features I use I find very useful and handy. I have purchased other Panasonic phones over the years, and have been very happy. I own a Lumix camera(DMC-FZ28) and a Panasonic Microwave Oven. Both work great. When I shop for products, I always check to see If Panasonic makes it.

While this phone is easy to read and set up and the price is good, there are a couple glaring minuses. First, the battery life is nowhere near as long as advertised. Literature says several days but in practice the battery only lasts about 1 day, even under very light use. Also, the voice quality of the CID is extremely poor and at times nearly indecipherable. The contact list is cumbersome to use and very slow to access numbers. I probably would opt to purchase a more expensive model in hopes that these faults were eliminated.

I replaced my previous Panasonic set that started having number keys that were harder to press. After having the set for probably 15 years I thought that an upgrade would be good. These new ones I thought would be an upgrade based on features, but they were not up to the usual Panasonic quality. My old KX-TG9341 had much better phone clarity and answering machine sound. I had owned many Panasonic phones and answering machines over the decades, but after this one, I am pretty sure I will not buy another.

I've had Panasonic KX-TG5672 for years and loved it. It was easy to set up and operate. The KX-TGE232 is similar with a few more features. Such as call blocking, now I can block Carmen from card services. And group caller ID ringer. The volume is a little low on this unit and it is more complicated to set up the features

This replaced another brand because it was the price of new batteries for the old one. It met all of our requirements, e.g.. internal voice mail, CID and most especially a headset plug in. Seems most competitors don't include this function. Bonus was large number buttons and decent back lighting.

Pretty close to perfect
By Mark K.
-Pros- Speakerphone is superb Audio is super clear Range is impressive Features are pretty much perfect - I was amazed that I could name the handsets so that I didn't have to remember which device number when using the intercom -Cons- Intercom rings the other phone - person has to pickup that handset to talk (I was hoping the intercom would automatically speak over the other handset)
Great phones for home
By Papa S.
The phones were easy to set up and one of the best parts was that I could name each headset so that when I used the intercom, I knew which was which. I did not have to remember where number 1 or number 5 was, I could just look at the name.
Find misplaced cell phone with a button on the base
Dial easily with large buttons on handsets and base
Receive voicemail alerts at home, office or away with TAD
Hear messages, call back and more with Smart Key Function
Advanced TAD Functions
Panasonic keeps you in touch with Advanced Answering Device Functions on select models. Now you can be alerted to recorded messages whether you're at home or on the road. When a caller records a message, the base unit will beep alerting those in the house. Not at home? The phone will automatically send a message to a registered cell or office phone along with playback options.
Enhanced Noise Reduction
The Enhanced Noise Reduction feature available on select 2014 models lets you suppress background noise around the caller while simultaneously enhancing their voice making it easier to hear them. So a parent getting a call from their teenager at a concert can hear what time to pick them up or when a friend calls from a noisy ballgame, you can hear where to meet afterwards.
Key Detector Compatible
Attach the optional Key Detector to your car key ring or other easily misplaced items and forget about ever losing them ever again. Using any of your telephone handsets, you can activate the Key Detector's beeping alarm and quickly track down your lost keys. Key Detector's powerful range finds objects up to 200 yards away so you'll find whatever's lost whether it's upstairs, in your car or in the yard. You can register up to four Key Detectors and give each a distinctive name, like Dave's keys, Sharon's keys, etc.
Power Back-Up Operation
A powerful battery back-up system keeps you connected when the power goes out. Keep a charged handset in the base unit and you can still make and receive calls with the other cordless handsets.
Large, 1.8" White Backlit Handset Display
See who's calling at a glance on the wide, 1.8" LCD and set screen. Featuring black against a white-backlit display, it's crystal clear and easy to read-even from a short distance away.
Intelligent Eco Mode
This feature automatically lowers the power consumption when you're using the handset close to the base unit. Not only does it extend the available talk time, it's good for the environment. When less power is used by the handset to communicate with the base unit, battery life is prolonged which results in less frequent charging and can result in fewer batteries in landfills.
DECT 6.0 PLUS Technology
Enhanced version of DECT 6.0 in which transmission quality and range are improved by increasing the frequency of error correction up to 80x.
Talking Caller ID
Now you can hear who's calling from across the room without having to get up. Using text-to-speech technology, Panasonic phones featuring Talking Caller ID announce caller ID information in between rings.
